I have experienced many special occasions throughout my life. However, one very special occasion was my graduation. All of my family and friends came to my graduation to celebrate with me. I graduated from university and received my master’s degree, so they were very happy for me. Even though it seems like yesterday, it was actually 15 years ago in the winter. Specifically, it was in the month of Feburary. I graduated from Michigan State University, which is a well-known university in Michigan. I worked very hard for my degree. So, I was happy to be able to share my graduation with my family and friends.

The entire occasion made me feel amazing. I was also proud of myself because I never gave up, even though my classes were extremely hard. But, I was also grateful to my family and friends for their support each and every day.

One special thing that I remember from the occasion happened when I received my diploma. As I mentioned, my parents have always supported me. Throughout my time in university, my parents sacrificed everything for me so that I could reach my dreams. So, when I got up to receive my degree, I called my parents to the stage as well. They cried tears of joy as we stood on the stage together holding my degree high in the air. My parents taught me that it is important to always thank people who have helped you. I will never forget that lesson.
